Single detached housing starts in Nanaimo increased in Dec. from 16 in 2013 to 17 in 2014 while multi-family units increased from 16 in 2013 to 79 in 2014 resulting in a combined total of 96 units in 2014 as opposed to 32 units in 2013.
YTD Total Starts Up 60%
Year to date single detached increased from 205 in 2013 to 318 in 2014, multi-family increased from 210 in 2013 to 347 in 2014 for a combined total increase from 415 units in 2013 to 665 units in 2014.
