During a recent Zero Waste Challenge in Nanaimo designed to raise awareness around ways to reduce our garbage the city honored three participants as follows:
Mr. and Mrs. Hiltz - Most Improved Recycler
Mr. and Mrs. St. Arnault and Mr. Dean Rownd - 2nd Best Diversion Rate
Mr. and Mrs. Villeneuve - Best Diversion Rate
The winners received a certificate from Mayor McKay and a prize from the city for their accomplishment.
