A fund has been set up to help relieve some of the financial pressures Gord does not need to worry about during his time of recovery. The person establishing this fund with the permission of Robert Fuller says:
"Gord has a long road to recovery ahead of him. I've set this site up to raise funds to help ease some of the inevitable financial burden for Gord. Despite being in hospital, he still has bills to pay, including a mortgage, car insurance, student loans, etc. Often these expenses don't have a reprieve even if someone is unable to work or bring in their regular income. In addition to general life costs, there may be other additional medical-related costs."
