Every photographer knows the secret to a great picture is being in the right place, at the right time with your camera pointed in the right direction.
All of those elements lined up perfectly for amateur Victoria photographer Bob Ianson when he and his wife were walking at Ogden Point on Monday around 2:00 pm. That is when he spotted this happy seal with Octopus well in hand on the way to dinner. Mr. Ianson likened the seal to a pet cat, who likes to bring their catch home for approval, and perhaps bragging rights.
This indeed is one of those once-in-a-lifetime pictures most photographers dream about.
