Sun News Network Fades To Black

As reported in this Huffpost article, the Sun News Network will go dark on Friday following a fruitless search for a buyer.

Sun News has lost nearly $20 million on a yearly basis since it launched in 2011. It has struggled to build viewers with limited distribution to 40 per cent of Canadian households.

  2. Since Nanaimo council meetings are staying on Mondays, and Ezra doesn't have his hit TV show anymore, can we hire him to do the play-by-play here...as he'll no-doubt be visiting his in-laws in Oceanside on some weekends. And it's not like he has to rush back to Toronto to do anything now. He can write his column from out west.
