Food Production Benefits of GMO

Pro GMO Presentation

There is no shortage of anti-GMO information being presented by it's opponents, Mr. Saik offers an opposing viewpoint supporting the improved food production benefits. Like everything you see on the Internet; just because it is on the Net doesn't necessarily mean it is true.

He raises an interesting argument, that through genetic modification crops can be more drought resistant, pest resistant and better able to extract nutrients from the soil. This ultimately helps support the organic goals of using less fertilizer and herbicides in the production of our food.

The date of this presentation is January of this year, so I presume his data is current.
