The band tailed pigeons have returned to the neighbourhood and while seeing 2 or 3 at a time at the feeder is not unusual, the other morning no fewer than 8 of them tried to top up at the same time. The pan can easily accommodate a half dozen sparrows, but 8 of these guys was a bit of a show.
