Ms Michelle Corfield Appointed to NPA
In accordance with the Canada Marine Act,
Nanaimo City Council has appointed Ms. Michelle Corfield to the Nanaimo Port
Authority (NPA) Board in the position of Director. Ms. Corfield will serve in
her new role commencing July 1, 2015 through to June 30, 2018.
Michelle was chosen from among thirteen applicants for the posting which is set for a period of three years and can be renewed for a maximum of nine consecutive years.

Michelle's knowledge and familiarity with both the business of the Port as well
as that of the City made her an ideal candidate for this important
