During Oct. and Nov. 2014 and March and April 2015 the Freshwater Fisheries Society of BC released a total of 20,400 Rainbow Trout into Nanaimo area lakes.
Fish were released in Colliery #1 #2 & #3, Divers Lake, Brannen Lake,Long Lake, Green Lake and Westwood Lake.
The fish are all described as being rainbow of the Fraser Valley strain and are 'Fall or Spring Catchable', so it looks like trout should be on the menu tonight!
