Single detached housing starts in Nanaimo increased in May from 30 in 2014 to 35 in 2015 while multi-family units increased from 24 in 2014 to 33 in 2015 resulting in a combined total of 68 units in 2015 as opposed to 54 units in 2014.
YTD Total Starts Up 88%
Year to date single detached increased from 130 in 2014 to 173 in 2015, multi-family increased from 87 in 2014 to 234 in 2015 for a combined total of 407 in 2015 from 217 units in 2014 representing a 88% increase .
