Helijet has been offering flights between Vancouver and Nanaimo since mid-March of this year. Their 12 passenger, twin engine, two pilot Sikorsky 576 Helicopters makes the harbour to harbour trip in just 18 minutes.
The Nanaimo summer fare is $109 one way (regular $129) which allows for one child to fly free with a paying parent. Seniors fee is $97 for travellers 65+.
