Local painting contractor E,N. Painting was the successful bidder for the contract to repaint the Port Theatre. The work includes surface preparation, priming and two top coats which will give continued protection against the elements.
The primer coat which is being applied now makes for a bit of a 'shock' as it certainly brightens up the large expanse of wall. The finished coat will be a light grey color.
The company was the winning bid at just over $49,000.00 and is required to have the work complete by Sept. 15/15 and supply a two year guarantee.
