Roof Replacement & Seismic Upgrade

Fire Rescue Command & Business Centre

Flynn Canada was the successful contractor to win the bid to provide seismic upgrading and a new roof on the Fire Rescue Command and Business Centre on Fitzwilliam Street. The winning bid was in the amount of $180,843.45 edging out second place G&G Roofing with a bid of $189,561.00.

This is the building that at one time housed the Library before it moved into it's new home on Commercial Street at Diana Krall Plaza.

In addition to replacing the waterproofing component of the roof, there is also seismic upgrading being done at the same time which brings the building up to 80% of the seismic code.
