Single detached housing starts in Nanaimo increased in August from 19 in 2014 to 27 in 2015 while multi-family units increased from 15 in 2014 to 21 in 2015 resulting in a combined total of 48 units in 2015 as opposed to 34 units in 2014.
YTD Total Starts Up 38%
Year to date single detached increased from 218 in 2014 to 263 in 2015, multi-family increased from 209 in 2014 to 328 in 2015 for a combined total of 591 in 2015 from 427 units in 2014 representing a 38% increase .
