Ian Howat Leaving City Hall - Headed to Colwood

Corporate Services GM announces his departure

The City of Nanaimo's General Manager of Corporate Services, Ian Howat, has announced he will be leaving his position at City Hall having accepted a new position as the Chief Administration Officer for the City of Colwood.

Mr. Howat has worked for the City for 10 years. His responsibilities included overseeing the City's legislative services and strategic relationship functions and providing senior leadership to the areas of planning, development, finance, human resources and information technology.
