Coastal Inspiration passing Entrance Light going to Tsawwassen
Recently the Federal government added the Entrance Island Lighthouse to the list of designated lighthouses contained in the Heritage Lighthouse Protection Act.
This means the structure's heritage character will be protected for present and future generations. Currently the lighthouse is a fully functioning, manned-lighthouse which is not necessarily a status protected by the Act as every now and then the Ottawa gurus keep trying to automate our west coast lighthouses.
