Boil Water Advisory Cancelled for City of Nanaimo
Turbidity levels have returned to normal
The Water Quality Advisory that was issued Tuesday November 17 is now CANCELLED. The City placed the advisory to inform residents that they may observe cloudiness in their tap water and as a precautionary measure. There was no contamination of the water supply, simply increased levels of sediment in the water.
Once the new water treatment plant is operational - anticipated to be in the coming weeks - the City's water supply will be filtered to a very high degree.
