Nanaimo Does Remembrance Day Well

Under clear blue skies, and perfect weather Nanaimo once again gave tribute to the brave souls who paid the ultimate price that we can live in a free and law abiding country. At a time when much of the world is in turmoil, the life we enjoy and perhaps take too much for granted, reflects the blessed state our country has enjoyed for decades.

A sign of the times and a reminder of how things have changed in recent years was evidenced by the presence of two police observers on the roof of the Dorchester Hotel keeping a vigilant eye out over the ceremonies.
