Single detached housing starts in Nanaimo increased in November from 23 in 2014 to 43 in 2015 while multi-family units increased from 9 in 2014 to 42 in 2015 resulting in a combined total of 85 units in 2015 as opposed to 32 units in 2014.
YTD Total Starts Up 46%
Year to date single detached increased from 301 in 2014 to 370 in 2015, multi-family increased from 268 in 2014 to 461 in 2015 for a combined total of 831 in 2015 from 569 units in 2014 representing a 46% increase .
