Our mild weather is one of the west coast advantages we often like to flaunt over our neighbours to the east. For curiosity's sake I did a screen grab of the weather forecast for Nanaimo and Mississauga for the next five. days.
Can you guess why we refer to ourselves as not only the west coast, but also the wet coast?
My friends from Sask and the East tell me I am living on the "Left" Coast. Looking at all the Orange on the election map I have to agree with them. You should do your comparison for more than one week (I think Toronto is unusually mild for this time of year) and I'll bet we begin saying we live on the "Best" Coast soon.
