College Drive Blasting Feb. 22 - Mar. 18

Expect delays between Kaz Court & Dorchester Pl.
alternative routes advised

Milner Group project manager, Craig Cookman said:"Closing the road is the only way to remove this rock safely. Every effort will be made to minimize the duration of each closure and to keep traffic moving"

Motorists travelling along College Drive between Harwell Drive and the Nanaimo Parkway are advised to plan ahead.  Rock blasting associated with utility installation is scheduled to occur between February 22nd and March 18th along College Drive between Kaz Court and Dorchester Place. For worker and general public safety, short duration closures of College Drive are required while the blasting work is underway.

Delays are expected between the hours of 7:30 am until 4:00 pm, Mon. through Fri. from February 22 until March 18/16. There will be alternating single lane traffic with one or two planned closures of three minutes while blasting occurs.

Drivers should allow extra time for their commute and are asked to obey signage and traffic control personnel.
