The Passion Of The Christ - The Easter Story

This is the movie produced by Mel Gibson several years ago which graphically depicts the Passion (sufferings) of the Christ. The dialogue is all spoken in Aramaic which is the language of the day with English sub titles. Those used to the sanitized images of Christ at the whipping post, or on the cross will find the portrayal here gut wrenching and for some impossible to watch. That said, it graphically serves as a reminder that Easter is not about colored eggs being delivered by a cute little rodent.
