Prolific offender arrested
At approximately 6 pm on Saturday May 7 officers attended to a home on Mexicana Drive and arrested ALEXANDER as he attempted to make a hasty retreat through a rear window of the residence. One of the officers on scene, Sgt Donovan Tait, who as a sidebar, was returning from a Tour de Rock fundraising event in Victoria, managed to subdue ALEXANDER and take him into custody. ALEXANDER was then transported to the Nanaimo RCMP Detachment.
ALEXANDER was wanted on 7 outstanding property related offences which included 3 counts of Break and Enter and 4 for Possession of Stolen Property.
