2016 FESTIVAL OF ARCHITECTURE STREET PARTY
Celebrate architecture West Coast style and join the Festival of Architecture street party! Saturday June 11, 6:30 pm - 10:00pm, on Commercial St., all ages welcome. Participants will enjoy FREE interactive displays including;
- Learn to spin Poi
- Experience Electro Swing
- Witness traditional Coast Salish cedar weaving, knitting and Carving
- Fly a helicopter
- Discover traditional puppeteering
- Contribute to an artistic canvas
- Dance in the Street
- Enjoy a corn boil ($$)
- Taste of Nanaimo Food Trucks ($$)
- Explore Nanaimo artists, musicians and creative community through displays along Commercial St.
