RCMP Need Help Identifying Suspects


Thieves caught on video 

The Nanaimo RCMP is asking for the public's assistance in identifying several males involved two unrelated incidents at apartment buildings in central Nanaimo. Both incidents were captured by video surveillance cameras. 

The first incident occurred at approximately 10:30 pm on Sunday July 3rd, at 1633 Dufferin Crescent. The suspects in Photo # 1 jimmied the front door to the apartment building then tried to gain access to a secure storage locker. They left after being confronted by the apartment building manager. 

The second incident occurred on or about Friday July 1st, at 1820 Summerhill Place. The males in Photo # 2 gained access to a secure bike storage area then made off with a 5 speed Gary Fisher with an orange bond ribbon, a 5 speed KHS with a "Live to Surf" sticker and a Kona Kula pedal bike. One of the two males from Summerhill Place has been identified and only the male shown wearing the black hat is currently unknown.
