Missing Makayla Chang Update







Update on missing 16 year old Makayla CHANG

The Nanaimo RCMP is continuing their investigation into the disappearance of 16 year old Makayla CHANG, last seen in Nanaimo on March 17, 2017. CHANG goes by the names of Makayla, Kayla or Finn and is described as part Asian/part Caucasian female. CHANG is 5 ft. 1, 110 lbs, with light skin, and short dyed red hair. CHANG wears glasses and has piercings in her lip and in the skin above her upper lip (picture attached). CHANG also wears wigs and may dress as a male at times.

CHANG may be in the company of 53 year old Steven Michael BACON. Photos of Mr. Bacon are being released as investigators believe he may have information which can assist police in locating CHANG. BACON is a Caucasian male who is 5 ft. 10, 209 lbs, with a short white buzz cut hairstyle. He has a thick white goatee that is yellowing, a teardrop tattoo under his left eye and a tattoo on the back of his right hand.
