Nanaimo Events Centre Information

Take your civic duty seriously by gathering as much information as you can and making an informed decision come March 11/17. This is an $80,000,000.00 decision that demands thoughtful consideration.

I had asked both the NO and YES committees to make their cases in 200 words or less, and while both sides said they would, they as yet have not. Links are provided to both of their Facebook pages.

  1. the complete failure of the events center is actually a stunning success compared to the the colliery dams fiasco, and even more good news is that because the referendum failed, they can dredge up the foot passenger ferry to vancouver idea again, if the events center was built that idea would be 100% dead
