This man is a Senator and has practices medicine for 40 years. He recently expressed his opinion about the current crisis and is now being investigated.
Why does it seem that the authorities are so afraid of listening to any experiences many in the medical community have had with this 'bug' that goes against the 'sky is falling' narrative.
Could this be the answer?
The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary.
