The Role Architects Play In Your Community

FREE Exhibit Aug. 6 - 10 - 12:00 noon - 4:00 pm
Port Theatre Lobby
Opening Event Thurs. Aug. 8 - 6:00 pm

This week starting on Aug. 6 to Aug. 10 the Vancouver Island Chapter of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada will be presenting exhibits from Vancouver Island Architects in the lobby of the Port Theatre.

There will be an opening event on Thursday Aug. 8 starting at 6:00 pm with keynote speaker Mr. Terry Williams who was the architect for the Port Theatre.

It is hoped this exhibit will raise the publics' awareness of the role architects play in shaping our community, in the past, present and future. There will be an architect on hand daily when the exhibit is open to help answer your questions. This would be a great opportunity for young people, possibly considering a career in the field to ask questions.
