Single detached housing starts in Nanaimo increased in Feb. from 18 in 2014 to 32 in 2015 while multi-family units increased from 13 in 2014 to 23 in 2015 resulting in a combined total of 55 units in 2015 as opposed to 31 units in 2014.
YTD Total Starts Up 95%
Year to date single detached increased from 36 in 2014 to 64 in 2015, multi-family increased from 22 in 2014 to 49 in 2015 for a combined total of 113 in 2015 from 58 units in 2014 representing a 95% increase .
