Single detached housing starts in Nanaimo increased in September from 16 in 2014 to 32 in 2015 while multi-family units increased from 4 in 2014 to 76 in 2015 resulting in a combined total of 108 units in 2015 as opposed to 20 units in 2014.
YTD Total Starts Up 56%
Year to date single detached increased from 234 in 2014 to 295 in 2015, multi-family increased from 213 in 2014 to 404 in 2015 for a combined total of 699 in 2015 from 447 units in 2014 representing a 56% increase .
