Lifelong Nanaimo resident, professional artist and illustrator Dale Schulz 'sees' much of Nanaimo many of us simply walk by without giving a second thought.
Through the eyes of an artist the everyday can become almost magical and with a few simple photos of his daily walks, Dale captures and shares some of that magic on his Facebook page.
The following is the most recent example of what Dale sees when he walks about our lovely seaside community many of us just take for granted.

Dale's Post - May 31/16
Only four photos from our walk today - it got HOT out there and Indy and I just had to get home! We did however make our way through Harewood, The Old City Quarter and Downtown. Enjoyed coffee on the Waterfront withRob Plante, Titia Jetten and Dirk Plante - Three powerhouse artists that are always wonderful to visit with!
So, the four photos are: The Chase River at the end of Hewgate Street; One side of Wesley Street from Fitzwilliam St. in the Old City Quarter; Commuter parking at the Port of Nanaimo; and a 'Flintstone's Era'#abandonedcahir in the lane between View Street and Princess Street.
