Dr. Bob Dentel Antibacterial Peppermint Mouthwash

Peppermint Mouthwash Recalled

A mouthwash sold through various Dollarama Stores across Canada is being recalled due to contamination with the bacteria Pseudomonas fluorescens which may cause abscesses if introduced into open wounds.

This recall involves Dr. Bob Dentel Antibacterial Mouthwash. The peppermint flavoured mouthwash is a blue coloured liquid and can be identified by item number 0102579. The mouthwash was sold in a 450mL (15.2 oz) clear plastic bottle with a white cap. Only those units without a lot number are included in this recall. 

Approximately 130,065 units of the products were sold at various Dollarama stores across Canada. 

Consumers are advised to immediately stop using the recalled product and dispose of it in their regular household garbage.
