Last summer you may recall you had the choice of outlets in Maffeo Sutton Park to satisfy your hunger as you enjoyed our lovely seaside park. There were hot dogs, french fries, ice cream and all other manner of tasty junk food available.

Then last year some of the unelected powers that be in city hall decided they were going to engage only one vendor who would have to provide healthy food choices for all park goers. Visions of tofu burgers danced in my head when I first heard that announcement.

Well it seems that all other vendors have left the park, and only one vendor remains. However, he still seems to just be running a hot dog stand. So why were the other vendors forced out of the park?
