LIFE

Life is but a vapour, a mere fleeting moment and we are deceived when we think that the few brief years we have are actually what life is and why we were created.

Life is not a period of time when a body is animated by the soul, life is actually a person, without whom we do not truly have life.

The only begotten Son of God said He was the Way, the Truth and the Life and that no man can come to know God except by the knowledge of that Son.

We are told in scripture (the Holy Bible) that unless we lose our life here we will not inherit eternal life in the kingdom of heaven.

(Jesus speaking):  "I assure you and most solemnly say to you, unless a person is born again [reborn from above--spiritually transformed, renewed, sanctified], he cannot [ever] see and experience the kingdom of God." John 3:3
"For God so [greatly] loved and dearly prized the world, that He [even] gave His [One and] only begotten Son, so that whoever believes and trusts in Him [as Savior] shall not perish, but have eternal life.   For God did not send the Son into the world to judge and condemn the world [that is, to initiate the final judgment of the world], but that the world might be saved through Him. John 3:16, 17

And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among people by which we must be saved [for God has provided the world no alternative for salvation]." Acts 4:12

and after he brought them out [of the inner prison], he said, "Sirs, what must I do to be saved?"  And they answered, "Believe in the Lord Jesus [as your personal Savior and entrust yourself to Him] and you will be saved, you and your household [if they also believe]." Acts 16:30,31

For God has not destined us to [incur His] wrath [that is, He did not select us to condemn us], but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, Thessalonians 5:9

Everyone needs salvation to see heaven

We ALL have sinned and need our souls to be saved. None of us are 'good' enough to enter into heaven.

As it is written and forever remains written, "THERE IS NONE RIGHTEOUS [none that meets God's standard], NOT EVEN ONE. "THERE IS NONE WHO UNDERSTANDS, THERE IS NONE WHO SEEKS FOR GOD.   "ALL HAVE TURNED ASIDE, TOGETHER THEY HAVE BECOME USELESS; THERE IS NONE WHO DOES GOOD, NO, NOT ONE."\Romans 3:10-12

since all have sinned and continually fall short of the glory of God,Romans 3:23

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God [that is, His remarkable, overwhelming gift of grace to believers] is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23

But God clearly shows and proves His own love for us, by the fact that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8

because if you acknowledge and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord [recognizing His power, authority, and majesty as God], and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart a person believes [in Christ as Savior] resulting in his justification [that is, being made righteous--being freed of the guilt of sin and made acceptable to God]; and with the mouth he acknowledges and confesses [his faith openly], resulting in and confirming [his] salvation. Romans 10:9,10

For "WHOEVER CALLS ON THE NAME OF THE LORD [in prayer] WILL BE SAVED." Romans 10:13

Salvation through belief in Jesus Christ brings us into right relationship with God. This can not be accomplished by any other means.

Therefore, since we have been justified [that is, acquitted of sin, declared blameless before God] by faith, [let us grasp the fact that] we have peace with God [and the joy of reconciliation with Him] through our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed). Romans 5:1

Therefore there is now no condemnation [no guilty verdict, no punishment] for those who are in Christ Jesus [who believe in Him as personal Lord and Savior]. Romans 8:1

For I am convinced [and continue to be convinced--beyond any doubt] that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present and threatening, nor things to come, nor powers,  nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the [unlimited] love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38,39

What must YOU do to lay hold on salvation in Christ Jesus and the eternal Life that is in Him and Him alone.
  1. Admit you are a sinner.
  2. Understand that as a sinner, you deserve death.
  3. Believe Jesus Christ died on the cross to save you from sin and death.
  4. Repent by turning from your old life of sin to a new life in Christ.
  5. Receive, through faith in Jesus Christ, his free gift of salvation.
The easiest, most simple way to lay hold on eternal life is to sincerely from your heart say: JESUS SAVE ME A SINNER!

If prayed sincerely from your heart you will know instantly that you have been born again and all things have become new.

Then you need to find a good local church and be baptized in water and the Holy Spirit which are both necessary to live the Christian Life.
