COASTAL RENAISSANCE TO SAIL THIS WEEKEND

MAIDEN VOYAGE THIS SATURDAY

Barring any unforeseen circumstance, BC Ferries newest vessel the Coastal Renaissance will be sailing between Departure Bay and Horseshoe Bay, this Saturday with the 3:00pm sailing.
Coastal Renaissance will replace the Queen of Cowichan on the Departure Bay/Horseshoe Bay run and will move to Duke Point.
The second of three new ships, the Coastal Inspiration is expected to pass through the Panama Canal this weekend. The third new ship, the Coastal Celebration is expected later this year.
The total cost of the three new vessels is $542 million.
So, if you want to be part of an historic ferry ride, you might want to get down to Departure Bay early this weekend to get your seat on the Coastal Renaissance's first crossing.
