Canadian Blood Services is drawing attention to the fact that blood donations can make a lifesaving impact on someone's life. The theme for National Blood Donor Week (June 11-16) this year is The Power of Many as it takes many donors to help save the life of a hospital patient.
Every minute of every day, someone in Canada needs blood.
Canadian Blood Services are in Nanaimo June 13 at Beban Park Social Centre with their mobile clinic from 12:00 pm - 7:00 pm. You can book an appointment online at their website and you may also simply walk-in to the clinic. If you are going as a walk-in it is a good idea not to show up after 6:30 pm as there may not be enough time to process the paper work and make your blood donation.

If you have not donated blood before you can see if you qualify by going through a questionnaire online at their website HERE. For your convenience you may also book an appointment online which should shorten your wait time at the clinic.
