Nanaimo Ratepayers President Resigns

Effective immediately, Oct. 16, 2014 I have tendered my resignation as a Director and President of the Nanaimo Ratepayers Association of which I am a co-founder.

My running as a candidate in the Nanaimo Civic Election is the reason for tendering this resignation so as to avoid any appearance of a conflict in the upcoming election. I will remain a member of the organization which I am proud to have help found.

I do not believe I am or would be in conflict, but wish to avoid even the appearance of a conflict.

  1. After winning, you'll need all the time you can muster to sway your new council crowd from all the non-essential spending that's become habit - spend, spend, spend: NOW, STOP IT !
