Hydroxychloroquine Saves Lives

26% not given drug died

13% given drug survived

Proven effective treating coronavirus

A team at Henry Ford Health System studied the outcome of 2,541 coronavirus patients and found those given the anti-malarial drug were much less likely to die.

Dr. Marcus Zervos, division head of infectious disease for Henry Ford Health System, said 26% of those not given hydroxychloroquine died, compared to 13% of those who got the drug. The team looked back at everyone treated in the hospital system since the first patient in March.

Comment: this study would seem to support the claims that have been made from many voices in the healthcare community that have found this drug helpful in battling coronavirus. One doctor I read claimed of 300 patients he treated with the drug had a 100% recovery rate.

If you are a skeptic about the role money plays in what treatment gets the nod and which don't, it should be noted this is a very inexpensive treatment that appears to have great benefit.
