Daylight Saving Time This Weekend

Remember Turn Your Clocks
AHEAD This Weekend

This is the weekend we lose an hour when we turn our clocks ahead for Daylight Saving Time. Officially daylight saving time kicks in at 2:00 am on the second Sunday in March. So turn your clocks back on Saturday night if you go to bed before midnight.

We used to start daylight saving time the first Sunday in April but since 2006 we began rolling the clocks ahead the second Sunday in March. This keeps us consistent with our friends to the south who brought in the change in 2006.

It is thought this change can conserve energy, although I haven't read of any studies confirming any saving.

So don't forget to set your clocks, or you will be late for work on Monday.
