Infant Sling Carrier Recalled

Reports of 3 Infant Deaths In SlingRider

Health Canada and the US CPSC are recalling the Infantino Slingrider and the Wendy Bellissimo Sling Rider due to a suffocation or asphyxiation hazard with infants.

In the US there have been three reports that infants died in the SlingRiders.

There were 14,500 of the slings sold in Canada  and about 1,000,000 sold in the USA. If you own one of these slings: Consumers who are using the SlingRiderTMTM infant sling with an infant under four months of age should stop using these carriers immediately and contact Infantino to return them and receive a free replacement product. Do not attempt to fix these carriers. or Wendy Bellissimo
