Councilor Bestwick will be bringing two motions related to In-camera council meetings. If successful Council will be demonstrating their desire for more openness and transparency.
There are three delegations appearing before Council regards the building at 25 Victoria Rd. which needs at least $823,000.00 worth of repairs excluding seismic upgrading.
Council will be asked to approve spending $232,876 by way of grants for local organizations.
Council will be asked to approve spending $150,000 on artificial turf.

Council recently approved a change which requires all delegations speaking to an interest not on the agenda be heard at the COW meeting instead of a regular council meeting. While these meetings are not broadcast on Shaw Cable like a regular City Council Meeting they are recorded and available to view on the city website.
