The Big Mess

BIO: The Big Mess is a musical duo from Vancouver Island, British Columbia. 

Marty Shepard was born in Chicago, Illinois. Marty later became one of the original members of REO Speedwagon, he opened for such groups as Iron Butterfly, Canned Heat & Three Dog Night.

Kyle Shepard graduated from the University of British Columbia’s film department, specializing in audio design. During this time he gigged with an improv troupe, an exotic heavy metal orchestra and an African percussion ensemble. Kyle teaches beatboxing and voice play in his “VoxShop Workshop”, which was featured at the Vancouver International Children’s Festival

Butts Giraud and Andre Kauffman


BIO:
 Butts Giraud mentored under Jazz musician, Rob Weaver- Vancouver BC. Harmonica coaches Gerry Barnum- Vancouver Island, JP Allen-Hawaii, Jon Gindick-California. He played in Vancouver, Hawaii, Memphis to Clarksdale, Mississippi.  Butts Giraud is from Vancouver Island, Nanaimo. Owner of the Dog's Ear T-shirt and Embroidery Co., and a former CFL Player Winnipeg Blue Bombers and a WWF Wrestler.

Andre Kaufmann who is a versatile multi-instrumentalist musician that sings and plays in many styles. He is equally comfortable performing Blues, Light Jazz, Old Rock and Roll or Country. Andre will be performing on Sax and guitar and will be accompanied by Butts Giraud on "The Blues Harmonica".
