DEPARTURE BAY FERRY TERMINAL DETOUR

DEPARTURE BAY FERRY
TERMINAL CONSTRUCTION

If you are going to or from Departure Bay ferry terminal, you would be wise to add extra time to allow for construction delays and major detours.
The area particularly affected is the Brechin Rd. and Stewart Ave. area where the intersection is being changed. This will take approximately six weeks and construction will be ongoing six days per week.
Brechin Rd. will be closed to northbound and westbound traffic for about two weeks. This means traffic coming from Departure Bay is being rerouted along Stewart Ave. to the Island Highway intersection at the Pearson bridge.
If you are traveling to the ferry terminal you can still come down Brechin Rd. but traffic will be reduced to one lane, so allow extra time.
