SCHOOL ZONE STING CATCHES 82 DRIVERS

RCMP ISSUE 82 TICKETS
IN SCHOOL ZONES

Undercover tactics to 'blend in' are no longer reserved for drug and major crime busts, it is now being applied to the traffic division of the local RCMP.
That flagperson up ahead, may be a traffic cop in disguise or the backpack carrying biker may be on the look out for seat belt infractions. Traffic enforcement has been taken to a new level with the implimentation of stealth tactics to nail unsuspecting drivers who are breaking the law.
Recently in two school zones, the local RCMP were stationed inside a school bus complete with radar gun where they were able to nab 82 lawbreakers.
These infractions are really signs of careless drivers with bad habits who should wake up. After all, doing up a seat belt and slowing down in a school zone are not new driving concepts.
What's that up ahead? A junkie? A hooker? Could be, or it could be one of the Queens finest out to remind you to slow down and do up your seatbelt.
