Not As Easy As It LooksWhile the slope wouldn't challenge Mt. Washington on any level, boarding down even a relatively small incline and riding a rail is not as easy as it looks.
This competitor only injured his pride but clearly shows it is not just 'a walk in the park'.
The weather was perfect, the snow conditions (not so much) but the few competitors which participated seemed to enjoy themselves.
From some of the excellent photos that were taken at this event I think the headlines in the vancouver papers should read something like "nanaimo hauls snow to have local snowboard competition in waterfront park"
