Canada Wide Warrant Issued
RCMP have issued a Canada-wide warrant for the arrest of Brent Stephen
Martin, who failed to return to the Nicol Street New Hope
Centre on Wednesday night where he has been residing for six months.
UPDATE: Apprehended & In Custody
He served three-and-a-half years of an eight year manslaughter sentence for killing a man in a fight in Victoria before being granted day parole in early 2011.
Martin is described as non-white, five-foot-seven and 150 pounds. You are warned not to approach Martin if you see him but you should call 911 immediately.
Martin is known to have family in several communities throughout Vancouver Island.
