Wisdom Is Never Out of Date

Samuel Johnson Said:

"Where mystery or secrecy begins, vice or roguery is not far off"

Mr. Johnson lived from 1709 - 1784 and among other things is credited as being a poet, essayist, moralist, literary critic and several other distinctions which marked his life.

In spite of the age of man, there is little difference in how we behave, and his observations in the mid 1700's are just as valid today as they were when he penned them. For example the above observation, which may not use entirely modern speak could be roughly translated as meaning:

"When people choose to conduct their business and affairs in secrecy and shroud their activities in mystery, you can bet that they are up to no good".
