Woodgrove Centre Helps Variety

Woodgrove Centre Collects Fountain Coins for
Variety – The Children’s Charity

For the next two years, anyone tossing a coin into one of the two fountains at Woodgrove Centre will be making a wish come true for another Nanaimo family. All coins collected will be donated to Variety – The Children’s Charity which provides support to families with children who have special needs. But the opportunity to help Variety help families doesn’t stop there.

On April 2nd, Variety will host its 7th annual Radiothon on 102.3 The Wave live on location at the shopping centre. This is the second year in a row Woodgrove Centre has generously provided space for the Radiothon, one of Variety’s signature fundraisers.

The coin fountains are located at the lighthouse near the food court and the water clock at centre court which will also serve as the site of the Radiothon.
