NANAIMO SILLY BOAT RACES THIS SUNDAY

EXAMPLE OF SOME OF
THE SILLY CRAFT YOU WILL SEE

The 23rd annual Silly Boat Races will be held this Sunday July 15 at Maffeo Sutton Park/Swy-a-lana Lagoon.
The goal this year is to raise $70,000 to support the Nanaimo Child Development Centre.
The schedule of events are:
  • 7:00 AM Silly Boat Regatta Opens
  • 8:00 AM Boat Building Begins
  • 10:00 AM Entertainment on Main Stage
  • 10:00 AM Entertainment on Lion’s Pavilion
  • 11:00 AM Children’s Tent Activities
  • 11:00 AM Children’s Mini Regatta
  • 11:45 AM Judging
  • 1:00 PM Races Begin
  • 3:30 PM Awards Presentation
Come out for another great day of family fun and entertainment, as there is lots of activities planned in addtion to the races.
